The 2022 edition of the Grand Prix d'Horlogerie de Genève (GPHP). The watch industry's top awards show - just wrapped up in Geneva, there are so many well-known brands that appear there as MB&F, Bulgari, Grand Seiko, and much more. Even Though Grand Prix d'Horlogerie de Genève (GPHP) is the best showcase in the watch world, It's still not perfect by any means, and many important and influential watchmakers decline to participate. You'll notice that no watches from Rolex, Richemont (outside of Van Cleef & Arpels), or the Swatch Group are in contention. But the GPHG does, in fact, matter. It's one of the few events that brings together many aspects of the watch industry – from mechanical clocks and jewelry to all elements of Swiss watchmaking culture.
There's something special about this watch's event. H. Moser & Cie get the tourbillon watch prize awarded. Pioneer Cylindrical Tourbillon succeeded in taking home the Grand Prix d'Horlogerie de Genève (GPHP) Tourbillon prize after it debuted at Watches & Wonders in March. The tourbillon category was one of the toughest to predict, with Grand Seiko, Greubel Forsey, and Theo Auffret also in the running. However, H. Moser & Cie deserves this award.
